Frequently asked questions

Find clear information about how to file a concern, our resolution timelines, confidentiality protections, and the appeals process across all our housing and workforce initiatives.

How do I submit a grievance or complaint?

You can submit a grievance either verbally or in writing to The Development Project Corporation / Tax Maxx Solutions Program Administration. Written submissions should include your full name, contact information, a clear description of the concern, relevant dates, any supporting documents or records, and your requested resolution.

What happens after I file a concern?

Our administration reviews the grievance alongside relevant records, supporting documentation, and accounts from any individuals involved. We promptly acknowledge receipt of your complaint and may contact you for further details before providing a formal written determination.

How long does it take to receive a resolution?

We aim to deliver a written determination or proposed resolution within 10 business days. For more complex inquiries that require comprehensive investigation, we will notify you if additional time is needed to complete the review.

Will my complaint remain confidential?

Yes. Information regarding your grievance is strictly confidential and shared only with staff members directly responsible for investigating or resolving the issue, except when required by law or in cases of immediate health and safety concerns.

Will filing a grievance affect my housing or services?

No. Participants will never face retaliation, penalties, denial of services, dismissal from training, or loss of housing support for submitting a good-faith concern or participating in a review. Filing a grievance will not impact your access to our programs.

What can I do if I am dissatisfied with the outcome?

You may request an administrative appeal with TDPC leadership by submitting a written request explaining your reasoning and any new documentation. Additionally, participants retain the right to reach out to external bodies such as the local CareerSource workforce development board, FloridaCommerce, or other regulatory authorities.
